Get Active Kids - Voucher Program

The Get Active Kids Voucher program will support the delivery of 100,000 vouchers to support children getting involved in organised sport and active recreation activities by providing up to $200 towards the cost of membership, sports equipment or uniforms.

Eligibility criteria

Named on a current Australian Government Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession card (at the time of application); and named on a valid Australian Government Medicare Card (at the time of application).

Sport and Recreation Victoria are planning to include a financial hardship/special consideration provision for applicants who are experiencing financial hardship as a result of an unforeseen situation and they may be without a Health Care Card and/or Pensioner Concession Card. 

Round 1 will open 1st March and remain open for 6 weeks.

Each year SDRC make provisions to support children and families being involved in rugby.  

If you are experiencing hardship and are not eligible to apply for a Get Active Kids Voucher the club may able to assist with the cost of registration or uniforms.
